<p>30일 업계에 따르면 쿠팡(대표 김범석), 위메프(대표 박은상), 티몬(대표 유한익) 등의 소셜커머스와 대형 오프라인몰인 LF(대표 오규식), 신세계인터내셔널(대표 차정호) 등은 휴대폰 소액결제 후 취소 시 결제월과 취소월이 다르더라도 계좌로 현금을 우선 지급하고 있다.</p>

<p>이와 같은 광고 기사는 현재도 나타났다가 사라지고 있다. 6월 들어 디트뉴스24, 경남데일리, 충북인뉴스, 전남일보, 투데이원주전남, 자전거생활 등 매체가 ‘소액결제 현금화 광고 기사를 내보냈다. 이들 언론 가운데는 기사를 매일 올렸다 지우는 곳도 있을 것이다.</p>

<p>신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 구매자들은 이용처에서 사용이 중단됐는데도 할부자금이 지속적으로 빠져나가고 있다고 토로하였다. 더욱이 결제 금액이 20만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상태이다.</p>
